Sagua Mañagu believes that women have the right to seek care that is medically safe, fits their lifestyle, and recognizes and respects their individual physical, social, spiritual, psychological and economic needs.
We will keep the patient’s best interest foremost in our minds and act as the patient’s advocate.
We will encourage women and families to exercise their right and responsibility to assume an active role in their own healthcare. A team of health professionals will provide care with the patient as an equal member.
Sagua Mañagu recognizes the family as the cornerstone of our social structure and that maternity care must support and promote family unity and development. We believe that family should be involved in the childbearing experience and that the patient will define “family” for herself.
Sagua Mañagu asserts that education is an essential part of quality healthcare. With knowledge freely exchanged between our staff and patients, women and their families are able to assume shared responsibility for, and make informed decisions about their health care.
We will seek opportunities to improve our community personally and professionally.
